Hi, I'm Catherine, the creator of English Zäma, and I'm excited to be your language-learning partner!
The name Zämä, meaning "together" in Swiss German, is my way of celebrating Switzerland, my adopted home.
As an English teacher and native speaker, I’m dedicated to helping children and adults build fluency and confidence in a friendly, supportive setting.
My approach is personal and friendly, with lessons tailored to each learner's unique goals and style, making learning English effective and enjoyable.
I’m also a writer and editor, which brings a unique perspective to my lessons.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy being outdoors with my dog, Ginger, diving into a great book, or practicing my Schwiizerdütsch.
